Job summary

Target is hiring for an On-Demand Guest Advocate in Portland, OR. You will help guests with questions, guide them through store services, and participate in the checkout process with friendly, efficient service.

You'll work a flexible schedule, joining a fast-paced team and using handheld scanners and POS tools. Prioritize guest satisfaction, promote loyalty benefits, and assist with Drive Up, Order Pickup, and returns as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and guest interaction skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, physical role.
• Willing to work varying shifts, nights, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture delivering the service standard.
• Greet guests and assist with daily tasks.
• Assist guests with products and services available in store.
• Explain Target Loyalty benefits and sign up guests.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, adhering to safety standards.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean work area and stock supplies as needed.
• Support order pickup, Drive Up, returns and related services.
• Capable of lifting up to 44 pounds and standing for long periods.
