Fork Union Military Academy, a historic all-boys college preparatory boarding school in central Virginia, is seeking a dedicated School Nurse for the 2026-2027 school year. The role is full-time and on-campus, working with the Health Services team to provide compassionate medical care to cadets.

Ideal candidates will hold a Virginia RN license and have experience in pediatric or school health settings. Strong communication and clinical judgment are essential for supporting students' health,

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates are licensed Registered Nurses (RN) in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Experience in pediatric, adolescent, school, military, or residential settings is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills, professionalism, sound clinical judgment, and a commitment to working with young men in a values-based environment are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical care, promote wellness, and help maintain a structured environment for cadets.
• Collaborate closely with the Academy's medical team, faculty, and parents to support student health and safety.
