The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree and teaching credentials, with experience preferred. Responsibilities include engaging students, preparing instructional materials, and evaluating student progress. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and a passion for creating effective learning experiences. A comprehensive training program will be provided.

Formación

• Four-year degree or equivalent required.
• State or provincial teaching credentials (current or expired).
• Minimum of one or two years of teaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of phonics and reading comprehension preferred for reading teachers.
• Four-year degree in mathematics required for math program teachers.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares for instructional sessions and gathers materials.
• Greets and engages students during instruction.
• Instructs students as per Sylvan programs.
• Manages students and instructional session activities.
• Evaluates and records student progress.
• Motivates students using Sylvan tokens for achievements.
• Records and tracks tokens earned by students.
• Supports student safety and well-being during sessions.
• Communicates student needs to program director.
• Participates in staff meetings and training sessions.
