Job summary

Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in student homes, provide care, mentorship, and supervision for a group of 8–13 students, and support their academic, emotional, and social development.

Initial duties include overseeing routines, coordinating activities, administering medications, transporting students to activities, and leading daily devotions.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive student vans.
• Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
