Job summary

The University of Washington Facilities Stores seeks a reliable Driver-Warehouse Worker to safely operate light and medium duty vehicles, pick up and deliver materials, and support warehousing operations across campus. You will join a team responsible for inventory, receiving, staging, and delivery workflows, using AiM for material processing, and collaborating with trades staff to ensure timely service.

A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required, with forklift

Qualifications

Experience operating light trucks and delivery vehicles.
Ability to perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and safety orientation.

Responsibilities

Operate light and medium duty vehicles up to 1.5 ton trucks; perform pre-trip inspections.
Pick up and deliver materials, equipment, and tools to various locations on and off campus.
Perform warehouse tasks: inventory control, receiving, disbursing, storage, picking, packing, staging, and delivery.
Inspect incoming items against shipping documents and set up storerooms/warehouse areas.
Use inventory software and participate in physical inventories; maintain clean, safe work areas.
Support Materials Management programs and assist with special projects; adapt to campus needs.
