Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA invites married couples to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents living on campus, caring for a group of 8-13 students and guiding their academic, emotional, and social development.

The role includes supervising, planning activities, administering medications, mentoring, devotions, and Chapel attendance, with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle, then progressing to a placed houseparent.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Ability to drive and obtain certification to drive student vans.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
