Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Management & Leadership with a focus on Entrepreneurship for AY2027-2028. This is an on-site, in-person position with a 12-credit teaching load per semester and the potential to lead the entrepreneurship course.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in entrepreneurship or related field from AACSB-accredited institution.
• ABD candidates will be considered; degree completion required by date of hire.
• Demonstrated scholarly activities in entrepreneurship or related fields (publications, presentations).
• Demonstrated teaching effectiveness at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Ability to work with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Teach 12 credits per semester (9 credits if Scholarly Academic status) in entrepreneurship and small business management.
• Advise students within the management and leadership concentrations.
• Maintain scholarly currency as defined by the School's policy and engage in research.
