Job summary

Tutor Me Education in Los Angeles, CA seeks K-12 tutors to provide 1:1 or small group instruction on school campuses. Must be able to commute to LA and pass an FBI-DOJ background check, with preferred prior tutoring/teaching experience.

Hours are in the afternoon (2-5pm or 3-6pm), Monday–Friday, ~15 hours per week, with some travel within the LA area. Classroom-friendly tutors who enjoy interactive learning are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to commute to Los Angeles, CA (required).
• Must clear FBI-DOJ background check that is taken in-person.
• Previous tutoring/teaching experience highly preferred.
• Ability to make learning fun and interactive, with the focus of the tutoring often determined by student questions and comments.
• Comfortable working in a classroom setting.
• Negative TB Test Result.

Responsibilities
