Job summary

Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino is seeking an On-Call Wellness Specialist to provide personalized wellness support, lead yoga experiences, and assist with wellness program delivery. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of yoga experience and a background in wellness or hospitality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of yoga experience, including leading yoga sessions or classes.
• Experience in wellness, spa, fitness, hospitality, or guest service preferred.
• Yoga teacher training or applicable yoga certification preferred.
• Knowledge of wellness practices, fitness programs, or spa services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide a warm, professional wellness experience.
• Lead yoga experiences, classes, and sessions for guests of varying experience levels.
• Explain wellness services, programs, amenities, and participation requirements.
• Assist guests with scheduling, check-in, orientation, and general wellness inquiries.
• Support the setup, operation, and breakdown of wellness classes, activities, and services.
• Provide demonstrations or guidance on wellness equipment and amenities within training scope.
• Maintain clean, organized, safe, and guest-ready wellness areas.
• Monitor supplies and replenish towels, equipment, and other wellness amenities.
• Communicate effectively with guests, instructors, therapists, and other departments.
• Protect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Identify and report safety, maintenance, or guest-service concerns.
• Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and wellness procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned during high-demand periods.

As an On-Call Wellness Specialist, you will provide personalized wellness support, lead yoga experiences and sessions, and assist with the delivery of wellness programs in a professional and welcoming manner.

The Wellness Specialist helps create a calm and supportive environment while ensuring that each guest receives attentive service aligned with our wellness standards.

Qualifications

• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum of two years of yoga experience, including experience leading yoga sessions or classes.
• Previous wellness, spa, fitness, hospitality, or guest service experience preferred.
• Yoga teacher training or applicable yoga certification preferred.
• Knowledge of wellness practices, fitness programs, or spa services preferred.
• Required licenses, certifications, or specialized training applicable to assigned services.
• Ability to create a calm, welcoming, and professional environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift supplies as needed.
• Ability to respond professionally to changing guest needs and operational priorities.
• Flexible availability and willingness to work an on-call schedule, including weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.
