Job summary

Responsive Education Solutions seeks substitutes to support potential future openings in our Texas classrooms. The role involves teaching and facilitating learning, tracking progress, coordinating with parents, and implementing individualized education plans as needed.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree or higher, and teaching certification is recommended though not required. Experience in public schools is preferred, and Comfort with learning software is expected.

Qualifications

• HQ preferred; a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college is recommended but not required.
• Graduate degree in a core academic area is another path to HQ, but not required.
• Teaching certification is recommended but not required.
• Teaching experience in a public school is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and motivate students in all course study.
• Assign lessons and correct homework.
• Maintain discipline in the classroom.
• Maintain a learning center that is conducive to learning, safe, attractive and stimulating.
• Set a good housekeeping example in the learning center and encourages students to follow this example.
• Inspire students with consistency, care, and interest to build students' self-esteem and promote continued success.
• Praise students, compliment them and encourages them in order to build character.
• Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the students' learning experiences.
