Job summary

Columbia Academy Elementary and Middle School, part of Endeavor Schools, is seeking an On-Call Substitute Teacher to maintain continuity in our educational programs. The role welcomes candidates with flexibility and a genuine love for working with young children.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in education or related field and the ability to lead learning activities, ensure student safety, monitor progress, and foster a harmonious classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Experience working with Pre K through 8th grade.
• Thorough understanding of pedagogy and best practices in education.
• Strong supervisory, leadership, and classroom management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with professionalism and tact in stressful situations.
• Proven ability to take initiative to better support student learning/growth.
