• Communicating with CityWide Sports Program Coordinators by telephone, e-mail, or in-person to provide information and discuss problems.
• Inspecting playing surfaces or fields to ensure they meet regulations and are safe for players.
• Inspecting sporting equipment and/or examining participants to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Signaling participants or other officials to make them aware of infractions or regulate play.
• Explaining disputed calls to players when appropriate.
• Performing other related duties as assigned or requested.
