Job summary

Dave Smith Motors, a Sonic Automotive family dealership, seeks an On Call / Shuttle Driver. This part-time role shuttles customers to and from the dealership, maintains a timely route, and upholds professional appearance and safety standards.

Responsibilities include transporting customers safely, using radio communications, keeping trip records, and assisting passengers in and out of vehicles. Pre-employment checks and USA work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Able to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, and credit report.
• Follow safety policies and report any accidents promptly.

Responsibilities

• Drives customers to their homes or places of business and returns them after repairs.
• Maintains a timely shuttle route and uses good driving judgment.
• Assists passengers getting in and out of vehicles and communicates with the dealership via radio.
• Keeps records of trips with passenger names and destinations.
• Notifies dispatcher of any vehicle service needs and maintains professional appearance.
• Performs errands as directed and adheres to OSHA safety rules.
