Job summary

National Water Services in Austin, TX is building a roster of Skilled Service Technicians for on-call dispatch to diagnose and repair water vending equipment at retail stores. If you have hands-on plumbing and electrical experience, a reliable vehicle, and a valid driver’s license, this flexible gig lets you work on your own terms as an independent contractor at $55 per hour.

No licensing required, and you’ll complete simple service reports with photos after each visit, helping the NWS home

Qualifications

• Experience with plumbing systems including water lines, valves and fittings.
• Experience with basic electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical equipment independently.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Smartphone with camera.
• On-call availability in local area.

Responsibilities

• Respond to on-call dispatches at retail store locations.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues on water vending equipment.
• Complete a service report with before and after photos at each visit.
• Communicate findings and repair status back to the NWS home office.
• Some jobs may be quick fixes; others may require a follow-up visit.
