Job summary

Waldensecurity in Orlando seeks an on-call Security Officer to patrol property, deter theft, and respond to alarms and incidents.

Be available for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts and travel between Auburndale, Lake Wales, Tampa, and Orlando; must hold Florida State Security Class D Unarmed and Class G Armed licenses.

Wage is $20 per hour USD; benefits available for eligible staff; requires GED or higher, valid driver’s license, clean background, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• GED or higher required.

• Ability to write simple correspondence.

• Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Patrols industrial or commercial property regularly.
• Deters theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
• Responds to alarms and emergencies; coordinates with management.
• Interviews guests and employees; reports disturbances and incidents.
• Maintains security by monitoring entrances, controlling traffic, and ensuring doors/windows are secure.
