Job summary

Prosegur Security USA, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for clients and staff while delivering professional security services.

You will perform routine patrols, observe and report hazards, interact with clients, and be prepared to cross-train at various sites across locations; strong communication and basic computer skills are essential.

This role requires reliability in all weather and the ability to respond to shift changes with little notice.

Responsibilities

• Provide general unarmed security duties and maintain a safe environment.
• Be alert to hazards, report and correct them.
• Understand and comply with client requirements and site instructions.
• Participate in training and learn safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public professionally.
• Be customer-service oriented with basic to intermediate computer skills and good communication.
• Perform routine foot patrols, lift moderately, and work in all weather.
• Respond to shift requests from the operator with little to no notice.
• Be able to cross-train at multiple locations for coverage.

Job description

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.


• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.


• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.


• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.


• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.


• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.


• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.


• Respond to any calls from the operator requesting a shift to be covered from little to no notice.


• Must be able to cross-train in various locations for any coverage needed, learning different SOP's and specific site instructions.
