Job summary

Surefox North America Inc is seeking Flex Security Agents to cover Utah locations in Draper and Provo with on‑call, part‑time/flex schedules. The role offers a base pay of $25.00 per hour and a variable schedule with open availability preferred.

Responsibilities include observation, access control, patrols, incident response, and protective overwatch across multiple Surefox programs; you will work at various client sites, covering shifts and ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid Utah Unarmed Private Security Officer license at the time of hire.
• Current CPR/AED certification at the time of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel between Draper, Provo, and surrounding areas.
• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
• Successful completion of the Surefox Physical Agility Test (SPAT), with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Availability to work day, swing, and grave shifts, including weekends and holidays, and occasional short‑notice assignments.
• Commitment to work at least four shifts or 32 hours per month.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance, integrity, and sound judgment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide flexible staffing support during vacations, call‑offs, no‑shows, suspensions, holidays, vacancies, special events, and other high‑need periods.
• Support multiple security functions, including Incident Commander, Resilience Officer, and other assigned positions.
• Work at various client locations throughout Draper, Provo, and surrounding areas.
• Cover temporary posts until permanent personnel are hired or return to duty.
• Perform day, swing, and grave shifts, including weekends, holidays, and occasionally with short notice.
• Learn and follow post orders, standard operating procedures, emergency action plans, and client requirements for each assigned program.
• Conduct interior and exterior security patrols, monitoring for safety concerns, suspicious behavior, unauthorized access, and unusual activity.
• Monitor entrances and exits, verify authorization, and assist with access control.
• Respond promptly and safely to emergencies, incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance.
• Contact law enforcement, fire, or emergency medical services when necessary.
• Protect client personnel, visitors, facilities, and property from security and safety risks.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation.
• Use radios, mobile phones, reporting platforms, and other basic security technology.
• Coordinate professionally with clients, Surefox leadership, operations centers, emergency responders, and partnering security vendors.
• Track and report program compliance, performance, and quality‑assurance requirements.
• Provide professional assistance to employees and create a safe, welcoming environment for clients and visitors.
• Attend operational or project meetings when requested.
• Work independently, adapt to different environments and operating tempos, and consistently maintain attentiveness, sound judgment, and professionalism.
