Chartwells K12 is hiring on-call Food Service Worker to prepare, present, and serve food at the Pocono Mountain School District location in Swiftwater, PA. Schedule varies; on-call shifts may differ by day and hours, with online applications accepted only.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Assists with prep work (washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables).
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays to and from work stations in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores food following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, temperatures and portions.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Adheres to sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
