Hospice of Chattanooga is seeking a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team, delivering compassionate, patient-centered hospice care to families in Dayton and the surrounding counties.

As an On-Call RN, you will respond to urgent and routine needs, coordinate care, document accurately, and support families through one of life’s most challenging times, while enjoying a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing and current RN license.
• Minimum one year of RN experience in medical-surgical/acute care; hospice a plus.
• Proficient with computers and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Be the Lifeline: respond to urgent and routine patient needs in home settings.
• Provide empathetic assessments of physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation per agency and regulatory standards.
• Support families with guidance and care during the patient's end-of-life journey.

Overview

Hospice of Chattanooga is currently seeking a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team, providing exceptional care and support to hospice patients and their families during their most critical moments. As an On-Call RN, you will play a vital role in identifying patient and family needs, coordinating care, and offering preventative measures and compassionate support.

Schedule: Friday, 4:30 pm - Monday, 8 am

Territory: Dayton - Rhea and Bledsoe County

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
• Hold current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum one (1) year experience as an RN in a medical surgical/acute care setting. Hospice exp a Plus!
• Must be computer proficient in typing and various programs, including a background in EMR.
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification if required by state.

$73,000-$83,000 (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general guideline for the role and is not a guarantee of the final offer. Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position. Final compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
