Job summary

Aleut Federal, LLC is seeking an On-Call Residential Advisor for Job Corps in El Paso, TX. You will help supervise a dormitory environment, monitor trainee progress toward goals, and apply core-value driven practices in daily activities.

Responsibilities include mentoring students, coordinating with the Independent Living Manager, and delivering life skills training to prepare youths for workforce success. Flexible hours and a focus on student well-being are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively relate to the trainee population.
• Inspire and motivate staff and students.
• Strong management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dormitory students and mentor them.
• Ensure students meet schedule and arrive on time for school or work.
• Participate as a Career Success Team member, implementing interventions.
• Provide daily supervision in monitoring personal hygiene, room chores and activities.
• Maintain dorms in clean, inspection-ready condition.
• Serve as a communication channel between management, staff and students.
• Facilitate life skills groups (budgeting, renters' rights, leases, chores).
