Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an On-Call Registered Nurse to cover after-hours and weekend home health visits in Fairfax and Prince William Counties. The position supports patient care on a 7 on/7 off rotation with a focus on high-quality home health services.

The RN will follow care plans, perform medications and wound care, assess and document patient status, and coordinate with the Clinical Team. A VA RN license and 1 year of clinical experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current VA RN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Prior home health experience preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Ability to travel to cases.

Responsibilities

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient needs.
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Administer medications, wound care, treatments and procedures.
• Monitor client conditions and report changes to the supervisor.
• Follow up with and document doctors' orders.
• Perform client assessments as necessary.
• Case management and coordination.
• Document observations and interventions using EMR tablet.

We have an On-Call Registered Nurse opportunity open covering on-call home health visits in Fairfax and Prince William Counties.

This position will cover after hours and weekends (Monday-Thursday 5:00p-8:30a, Friday 5:00p-Monday 8:30a). This will be a 7 on 7 off rotation.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
• Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform client assessments as necessary
• Case management and coordination
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet

Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current license as a Registered Nurse in VA.
• A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Pay: Weekly

Base Pay, depending on qualifications and subject to negotiations

$52-$62 per point
