Job summary

Wasatch Behavioral Health in Provo, Utah, is seeking a Part-Time, On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our Intensive Residential Treatment (IRT) Centers. This flexible role places you at the heart of a compassionate, multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping individuals with severe mental illness and complex behavioral health needs.

As an RN/LPN, you will administer and monitor medications, perform medical assessments, coordinate care with psychiatrists

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Current Utah RN or LPN license.
• Experience in mental or behavioral health settings preferred.
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications, side effects, and drug interactions.
• Experience with patient counseling, engagement, and mental health treatment programs.
• Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase.

Responsibilities

• Complete medical assessments, admission procedures, and thorough client progress documentation.
• Partner with psychiatrists, medical providers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver person-centered treatment plans.
• Coordinate medical appointments, medication assistance programs, and continuity-of-care needs for residential clients.
• Conduct urine screenings along with physical and mental health evaluations as clinically appropriate.
• Provide client education and facilitate groups on medication compliance, wellness, and healthy coping strategies.
• Serve as a liaison between clients, medical professionals, and community agencies to ensure clear, coordinated care.

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.

Salary: $23.03 - $41.29 per hour
