Job summary

RMS is seeking a Maintenance Tech in Norwalk to handle regular maintenance at rental buildings across the geography. You will respond to resident requests, manage your schedule under the Maintenance Superintendent, and ensure apartments and amenities meet high RMS standards.

Responsibilities include executing tasks, conducting walkthroughs, and delivering friendly, responsive resident service while coordinating with the Property Manager and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in building maintenance.
• Current driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance requests as assigned by the Maintenance Superintendent.
• Perform building walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs.
• Provide friendly, responsive service to residents.
• Prioritize maintenance requests to address building-critical issues quickly.
• Record and report time accurately.
• Respond to maintenance requests when directed by the Property Manager or Assistant Property Manager.
• Communicate work requested and work executed to the Maintenance Superintendent.
