Job summary

Shp-Management is seeking a dedicated Cleaner for a full-time role in Indianapolis, IN. The successful candidate will keep the property clean and perform custodial duties as directed by the Assistant Superintendent or Building Superintendent.

Required are a High School Diploma, 2 years of cleaning experience, knowledge of cleaning equipment, and a valid driver’s license. You must be able to handle on-call rotation and wear the necessary safety gear while performing duties.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in maintaining building cleanliness.
• High School Diploma.
• Valid driver’s license; required to assist on an on‑call rotation schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas including bathrooms and kitchens.
• Vacuum, sweep, and shampoo floors; clean glass and fixtures.
• Assist in exterior work such as shoveling and sanding walkways; lawn care beyond contracts.
• Prepare apartment turnovers within established guidelines.
• Clean community buildings, laundry rooms, offices, and grounds.
• Daily collection of debris on the property.
• Assist with parking lot and dumpster areas.
• Support maintenance repairs as needed.
