Job description

Groom in one of the top-ranked mobile vans in the country, right here in Reno. You’re a skilled groomer. You don’t need a chaotic salon floor, dryers blasting in every corner, or a bather rushing you through 12 dogs a day. At Zoomin Groomin Southwest Reno, it’s one pet, one groomer, one spotless luxury van, so you can do the work you’re proud of.

The pay

• 50% commission on services, based on service pricing (40% during your 90-day introductory period)
• 100% of your tips, and our clients tip well
• Full-time groomers typically earn $250–$500 per day
• Paid weekly by direct deposit, every Friday

The setup

• Fully stocked van with premium products. You bring your own tools (clippers, shears, blades). We supply everything else.
• Cage-free, one-on-one grooming. Calmer pets, better results, less stress for you.
• Smart routing. Our scheduling team plans efficient routes so you spend more time grooming and less time driving.
• We handle the clients and the calendar. Our client experience team takes care of booking and reminders so you can focus on what you love.
• Full-time (three 10-hour days a week) and part-time (one to two 10-hour days a week) positions available

Why groomers stay

• We’re winning. Our vans rank nationally against Zoomin Groomin locations across the country, and our team was invited to the company’s Top Dog Summit.
• You’ll learn from the best. Our Grooming Lead is a back-to-back franchise grooming contest winner.
• A groomer-first culture. We listen to your feedback, support your safety, and never push quantity over quality.
• It’s fun here. We’re a close, positive team that celebrates good work (and great before-and-afters).
• Groomer’s Choice discount and professional development support

What You’ll Need

• 2+ years of professional grooming experience, all breeds and sizes
• Your own grooming tools
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Cat grooming experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong time management and friendly, professional client communication

Zoomin Groomin Southwest Reno is independently owned and operated. We are an equal opportunity employer.
