Qualifikationen

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program (Required).
• Paramedic certification and BLS required.
• Valid driver's license required.

Aufgaben

• Responds to dispatch within geographic coverage to enhance ALS services.
• Abides by Pennsylvania motor vehicle laws.
• Performs patient assessment and conveys findings via two-way communications to the Medical Commander.
• Executes patient care per regional protocols and transfer guidelines.
• Assists in scene command and directs primary response personnel.
• Maintains vehicle and equipment readiness at start of shift and after patient encounters.
• Completes written reports detailing outcomes of dispatches and submits reports to facilities and base location.
• Participates in orientation and preceptorship of new personnel.
• Supports patient safety improvements and reports serious events per policy.
• Coordinates with local Fire and Rescue personnel for joint EMS operations.
