Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an optical dispensing professional to support patient eyewear needs. Under supervision, you will assist in fitting frames, measuring facial features, and helping patients select lenses to match prescriptions.

You will work with the optical team to process orders, inspect lenses, and perform minor repairs while maintaining accurate records and patient information.

Qualifications

• One year of recent full-time optical dispensing experience.
• Knowledge of optical theory, practices and lab techniques including measurement, fit and repair.
• Experience assisting in patient examinations or procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider in patient examinations and procedures.
• Dispense and adjust eyewear, take facial measurements, and ensure proper fit.
• Inspect lenses and eyewear for conformance to prescriptions and quality.
