Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare has an OB/GYN locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. You will provide routine and high-risk obstetric care, including cesarean deliveries, for a hospital setting. Laparoscopic procedures are required, and FHR interpretation is preferred.

The role involves a 30-minute call response, managing 2-10 patients per shift and 1-2 admissions per 24 hours. Hospital privileges are required; Weatherby covers travel and housing with 24/7 consultant support.

Qualifications

• Experience in obstetric care for routine and high-risk pregnancies.
• Perform laparoscopic procedures.
• FHR interpretation preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN care for routine and high-risk pregnancies, including cesarean deliveries.
• Perform laparoscopic procedures, including ectopic pregnancy management and ovarian removal.
• Respond to calls within 30 minutes and manage patient admissions.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and Weatherby consultants.
