Job summary

Redwood Living is seeking a Multi-Site Apartment Maintenance Technician I for Batavia, OH and surrounding areas. This hourly, full-time role involves maintaining and repairing apartment communities across multiple sites, performing routine and preventive maintenance, and responding to emergency requests.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC Certification (preferred).
• Apartment maintenance experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facilities, buildings, and grounds as assigned through work orders
• Prepare vacated apartment homes for release quickly and professionally
• Complete minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall tasks
• Minor plumbing system repairs (clearing drains, toilet issues, repair/replace water heaters)
• Service kitchen appliances, washers, dryers, and garage issues when necessary
• Emergency maintenance as part of an on-call emergency schedule
• Follow safety standards at all times
• Snow removal
• All other related duties as assigned
