Job summary

National Church Residences in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Carnegie Tower, a senior apartment community. You will perform preventive and routine maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems, ensuring safe, clean common areas.

This full-time role requires 1-2 years of apartment maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and strong troubleshooting and communication skills. On-call duties 24/7 with a $60 monthly phone allowance are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• 1-2 years of residential or apartment maintenance experience.
• Skilled in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems.
• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain interior and exterior common areas, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Complete minor carpentry, painting, appliance, and general repairs.
• Supervise and mentor junior maintenance staff, when applicable.
• Manage inventory and submit maintenance records and reports.
• Comply with all safety regulations and building codes.
