Job summary

Buckingham Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our apartment community in Bloomington, Indiana. The technician will handle daily repairs and maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, grounds and refurbishment tasks, ensuring optimal resident experience and property presentation.

The ideal candidate is reliable, accountable, and demonstrates strong time management and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently, have reliable transportation and availability for 24-hour, on-call maintenance upon schedule.
• Additionally, qualified candidates must carry an owned smartphone device (cell phone reimbursement will be awarded).

Responsibilities

• As Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for all daily repairs and maintenance of the apartment community.
• You will perform services needed for HVAC systems, electrical/mechanical systems, plumbing, grounds, structural elements, mechanical equipment and refurbishment of apartments.
• A strong candidate is one with a high degree of accountability and ownership, excellent time management skills and internal and external customer service.
