Job summary

GPI Investment LLC in Corpus Christi, TX seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep apartments, common areas, and building systems in optimal condition, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.

You will perform routine maintenance, handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs, respond to after-hours calls, and help with unit turns. EPA cert is a plus, not required; on-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience in apartments, hotels, or similar settings.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repair.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartment units and common areas.
• Handle work orders promptly across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and appliances.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to extend equipment life.
• Assist with unit turns including painting, repairs, and cleaning.
• Ensure safety and property policy compliance.
• Keep tools and inventory organized.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls as needed.
