Job summary

Beach Automotive Group in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a dependable Part-Time On-Call Tow Truck Driver to transport luxury, exotic, and high-end vehicles to dealer auctions and back to the dealership. You will drive a newer International rollback/flatbed tow truck owned by the dealership, travel along the East Coast, and work an on-call, flexible schedule while upholding the highest safety standards.

Responsibilities include safe loading, secure transportation, and adherence to DOT regulations;

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license; CDL may not be required depending on vehicle classification.
• Clean driving record.
• Experience operating rollback/flatbed tow trucks preferred.
• Ability to load and transport luxury and high-value vehicles.
• Willingness to travel long distances, including overnight trips.
• Dependable, punctual, able to work independently.
• DOT medical certification requirements, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport luxury, exotic, and premium vehicles using the dealership’s newer International rollback/flatbed tow truck.
• Travel throughout the East Coast to pick up vehicles from dealer auctions and dealerships.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles with careful attention to safety.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a clean driving record and comply with DOT regulations and safety policies.
• Communicate with dealership staff regarding pickup status and ETA.
• Represent the dealership professionally when interacting with auction personnel.
