Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. in Grafton, MA is hiring an on-call Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide preventative and emergency health services and wellness education to students. The nurse evaluates and recommends appropriate medical, mental health and dental services for the student population.

The LPN would fill in for other nurses on the team when available, with pay of $29.08 per hour. The role requires an active LPN license and at least one year of healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• LPN Certification from an accredited program and a valid, active, unrestricted in-state license to practice as an LPN required.
• A minimum of one year of health care experience preferred.
• Regional Approval required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Wellness Manager to coordinate and provide medical, mental services for students.
• Comply with local and federal guidelines for the administration of all medications and maintenance of medical records.
• Comply with HIPAA and other applicable laws and regulations regarding patient privacy and the maintenance of medical records.
• Perform first aid treatment, bedside patient care (for students in the Wellness Clinic) and other wellness services as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary environment within Wellness Services.
