Job summary

BrightConnect in Las Vegas is seeking a skilled Locksmith to install, repair, and adjust locks and security devices for residential and commercial clients. You will work with electronic and mechanical systems and must read blueprints to diagnose issues.

The role requires attending to lockouts, cutting keys, and maintaining precise service records. This contract position may include evenings, weekends, and holidays with on-site work in Las Vegas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a locksmith or in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of different types of locks and security devices.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Familiarity with electronic lock systems is preferred but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physically able to lift heavy equipment and tools.
• Availability for on-call emergency services may be required.

Responsibilities

• Install new locks and security systems according to client specifications
• Repair or replace broken locks and security devices
• Adjust existing locks to ensure proper functioning
• Respond to emergency lockout situations for both residential and commercial buildings
• Cut new or duplicate keys for clients
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and questions
