Job summary

NORA is seeking a Transportation Specialist to act as a critical link in a medical logistics chain, ensuring timely, safe, and compliant transport of organs, tissues, and clinical supplies. This is an on-call role requiring discipline, calm under pressure, and clear communication with dispatch and clinical teams.

You will work alongside clinical partners in fast-paced settings, with a focus on safety, protocol adherence, and professional judgment during both emergency and non-emergency

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years emergency vehicle operation experience (red lights and sirens preferred).
• Background in law enforcement, fire service, or career EMS preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving history.
• Successful background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Transport surgical teams, organs, tissues, and critical medical supplies.
• Operate under emergency and non-emergency conditions with measured judgment.
• Communicate clearly and proactively with dispatch and clinical partners.
• Identify potential delays, safety concerns, or process gaps and escalate appropriately.
• Tissue and donor transport responsibilities may be required at designated service locations.
