Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Troy, MI is seeking an entry-level Lab Assistant I for on-call coverage to support various laboratory departments. You will handle specimen accessioning, sample sorting, and basic waived tests under supervision, contributing to timely processing and accurate results.

The role offers on-call scheduling with shift differentials and access to a 401(k) plan with a company match after a qualification period.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Responsabilidades

• Provides a wide variety of support for assigned lab department.
• Picks up samples from accessioning and sorts samples into appropriate racks.
• Answers phone and directs calls appropriately
• Unpacks and stores reagents and supplies
• Inventories and orders warehouse supply items
• Sorts samples and distributes them to the appropriate setup hood. Manages specimen library within established time frames.
• Performs waived tests under supervision
• All other duties as assigned.
