Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to perform cleaning duties at facilities in Bloomington, MN. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment across assigned sites to support a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors.

The position offers an on-call schedule (Monday–Friday 5:00pm–1:00am) with pay of $21.45 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package. ABM is a veteran-friendly employer and welcomes applicants with military experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial/custodial cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling bins in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
