Job summary

Geeks On Site is seeking an on-call IT Field Technician to support residential and small business customers across Windows, macOS, POS, and AV setups. You’ll troubleshoot networks, install printers, upgrade hardware, and install/repair operating systems with bootable tools.

As an Independent Contractor, you set your availability and mileage radius. The role emphasizes reliable service, clear customer communication, and the ability to carry equipment for on-site visits, including outdoor TV

Qualifications

• Two or more years of IT support or field service experience.
• Strong networking and diagnostic skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently and provide professional customer service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle on-site hardware tasks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair Windows and macOS issues.
• Resolve WiFi, router, and wired network problems.
• Install and configure printers and scanners.
• Replace or upgrade hardware components.

Technicians may also receive POS or outdoor TV mounting jobs based on experience.
