Job summary

Geeks On Site is seeking experienced On-Call IT Field Technicians to support residential and small business customers across the United States. You will handle computer troubleshooting, networking, printer configuration, and on-site IT service, with occasional POS or outdoor TV mounting work based on experience.

This independent contractor role offers flexible scheduling, local on-site opportunities, and the potential for frequent job dispatches.

Qualifications

• 2+ years IT support or field service experience.
• Experience troubleshooting Windows and macOS.
• Ability to install printers and scanners.
• Comfort with on-site and field service work.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair Windows and macOS issues
• Resolve WiFi and wired network problems
• Install printers and configure scanners
• Replace or upgrade hardware components
• Document work and communicate with customers
• Install POS systems and run Cat5e/Cat6 cabling
• Perform outdoor TV mounting and basic AV setup
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work independently
