Job summary

Minnesota Masonic Home is seeking a dedicated environmental services aide to keep resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas clean and inviting. You will organize supplies, greet residents, and perform cleaning tasks to maintain a safe, comfortable living environment.

Responsibilities

• Major job functions include: Thoroughly cleaning and vacuuming resident rooms and common areas on daily basis.
• Thoroughly cleaning resident bathrooms on daily basis.
• Cleans lounges, hallways, activity areas, nursing desks and all other public areas in assigned work area.
• Collects trash and recyclables from all rooms.
• Replenishes all dispensed paper products and dispensed soaps.
• Can also include working in laundry.

Your day starts by organizing your supplies and tools to provide the best service you can. Then you start your routine by greeting your residents and finding out how their day is going, did they sleep well, etc. They look forward to seeing you! You continue through their room by sweeping, mopping, removing trash, sprucing up their bathrooms, etc. A well accomplished task that makes your customer happy!
