Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an On-Call Registered Nurse to perform home health visits across Montgomery and Frederick Counties. The role includes shifts that may be every other weekend or one week per month, with M-F evenings and weekend on-call. Home health experience is strongly preferred.

Base pay varies by qualifications, with a focus on compassionate, reliable patient care. Training, PPE, and support are provided to maintain safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Current MD Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of one year of recent clinical (medical/surgical) experience
• Home care experience preferred
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned

Responsibilities

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
• Perform duties including medication administration, wound care, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor clients' conditions; report changes to Clinical/Client Services Manager
• Follow up with, execute, and document doctors' orders
• Perform client assessments as necessary
• Case management and coordination
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations in EMR during client care

We have an On-Call Registered Nurse opportunity open now performing home health visits throughout Montgomery and Frederick Counties.

The On-Call Shift can be every other weekend or one week per month. Schedule can be discussed with Director.

Hours are M-F 5pm to 8:30am, Sat/Sun on-call all day.

Home Health experience strongly preferred.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

• Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform client assessments as necessary
• Case management and coordination
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet

Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current license as a Registered Nurse in MD.
• A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Additional Information:
Base Pay, depending upon qualifications:
$55.00-$62.00 per point.
