Job summary

Ambercare is urgently hiring Home Care Aides (HCAs) in Santa Fe and surrounding areas. The Home Care Aide - Flex is on call for 5 days per week with 40 hours total (20 hours guaranteed) and at least one weekend shift. Pay starts at $13.45 per hour with Daily Pay available for select positions.

Duties include following care plans, assisting with personal care, light housekeeping, meals, transportation, and medication support in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation (if by car, valid driver's license and proof of insurance).
• On-call for 5 days per week with weekend day requirement.

Responsibilities

• Follow care plans for clients and report completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing).
• Provide routine house cleaning, meal prep, and laundry.
• Transport client to appointments and errands.
• Assist client with self-administration of medications.
• Observe and report changes in client's condition.
