Job summary

Terrestris, LLC seeks a dependable Hazmat CDL Driver to support government contracting operations around Fort Irwin, CA. You will transport hazardous materials and fuel between installations, staging areas, and operational sites, while ensuring compliance with DOT and hazmat regulations.

This temporary, as-needed position involves operating fuel tankers or other CDL-class equipment and requires access to military/government facilities. Safety and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B license required.
• Hazmat endorsement required.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements.
• Experience operating fuel tankers or transporting hazardous materials.
• Ability to obtain access to military installations.
• Strong understanding of DOT hazmat regulations and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL-class vehicles including fuel tankers and hazmat transport vehicles.
• Transport hazardous materials, fuel, and mission-related supplies to government and military facilities.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT and safety standards.
• Ensure proper placarding, documentation, and handling of hazardous materials.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, DOT, OSHA and hazmat regulations.
• Coordinate with dispatch, site managers, and government representatives.
• Maintain trip logs, inspection reports, and transport documentation.
