Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks an ER physician for on-call coverage in a hospital setting. The assignment typically includes 3–5 ER admits per day and 1–2 surgeries per stint, with ACLS certification required.

Travel and housing expenses are prepaid, and malpractice insurance is provided. You will work with a Weatherby consultant through a dedicated online portal, with 24-hour support and access to NALTO resources.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required for clinical coverage.
• Experience in an acute hospital ER environment is preferred.
• Ability to work on-call shifts and coordinate with a Weatherby consultant.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-call ER coverage in a hospital setting.
• Manage 3–5 ER admits per day and coordinate patient flow.
• Perform 1–2 surgeries per coverage stint (non-trauma).
• Perform bowel, colons, hernias, appendectomies, scopes as described.
• Ensure all care adheres to hospital protocols.
