Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking an Equipment Service professional to install and service equipment at customer sites, including dishwashers and beverage machines. You will work as a team member to support operations and customer needs in a fast-paced distribution environment.

You will respond to calls within 2 hours, be on-call 24/7 in your territory, maintain inventories, install/remove equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and handle service records and billing as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• 6 months to 1 year in equipment sales and/or maintenance preferred.
• Valid state drivers license required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer calls for service within 2 hours and is on-call 24 hours per day within own territory.
• Maintains vehicle parts inventory and orders/picks up parts as needed.
• Maintains service vans and reports vehicle issues to Fleet Manager.
• Installs/removes equipment such as dishwashers and beverage machines at customer sites.
• Evaluates and reconditions returned equipment and performs preventive maintenance.
• Keeps service reports and equipment transfer sheets.
• Bills customers based on markups and taxes; maintains catalogs and price lists.
• Generates and responds to sales leads; performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
