Job summary

Eurest in Grand Rapids is seeking a FOOD SERVICE WORKER for an on-call position at Steelcase Inc., 901 44th Street Southeast, Grand Rapids, MI 49508. Schedule: On-call, Monday–Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm. Online applications accepted only. Food service experience is required.

No nights or weekends as a perk, with internal referral bonuses available. Summary: Prepares, presents and serves food as needed. Must maintain safety, sanitation, and food quality standards while assisting with preparation

Qualifications

• Food service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing and cutting fruits and vegetables.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations
• Stores food according to safety procedures
• Cleans work areas and utensils
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor
• Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements
• Performs other duties as assigned.
