Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking a friendly Fitness Floor Attendant for our corporate client site in Chicago, IL. In this on-site, on-call role you’ll supervise the exercise floor, assist members, and deliver exceptional customer service.

You will greet participants, monitor equipment, maintain the facility, and follow Emergency Medical Procedures. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in this dynamic fitness environment.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
High School Diploma or GED required.
CPR/AED & First Aid certifications required within first 30 days of hire.
Prior fitness and customer service experience strongly preferred.
Computer applications knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Interacts with participants and monitors equipment and participant safety.
Welcomes members by greeting, answering questions, responding to requests while at front desk and input data into membership system.
Performs facility maintenance responsibilities; ensures facility, equipment and locker rooms are clean and always stocked.
Understand and execute the Emergency Medical Procedures throughout the facility.
Demonstrate and instruct on the proper use of exercise equipment.
