Century Fire Protection LLC in Clearwater, FL is seeking an experienced fire sprinkler service technician responsible for servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.

This role involves reading and interpreting drawings, performing tests, documenting activities, and coordinating with inspectors and customers; NICET certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 3+ years of fire sprinkler service or installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and NFPA standards.
• Ability to read and interpret system drawings and specifications.
• NICET certification preferred (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.
• Diagnose system issues and identify required repairs or corrective actions.
• Conduct system testing, flushing, and functional checks.
• Document service activities, deficiencies, and corrective actions accurately.
• Communicate system status and service needs with customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate with inspectors, project managers, and other technicians as needed.
• Maintain service vehicles, tools, and inventory.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Support emergency and on-call service requests as required.
