Santa Ana Beauty Academy Inc. is seeking a Substitute Esthetician Instructor to provide classroom and clinic-floor coverage when a regularly scheduled Esthetics Instructor is absent.

The role maintains a safe, professional learning environment while ensuring students continue their education and practical training. The Substitute Instructor will follow the school curriculum, supervise students during hands-on sessions, assist with demonstrations, and ensure sanitation and safety procedures are

Qualifications

• Must hold California Esthetician or Cosmetology license.
• Experience in esthetics or skincare preferred.
• Prior mentoring or instructional experience preferred.
• Knowledge of facials, waxing, makeup, skincare procedures, and client consultations.
• Sanitation, disinfection, infection-control, and safety procedures knowledge.
• Ability to demonstrate esthetic techniques clearly and professionally.
• Ability to supervise students at varying skill levels.
• Strong communication and classroom-management skills.
• Dependable, professional, patient, organized, and flexible.
• Follow curriculum and school policies; provide substitute coverage as-needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during practical instruction.
• Assist with demonstrations of esthetic techniques.
• Perform facials, skin analysis, waxing, makeup application and client services.
• Monitor student participation and maintain clinic-floor standards.
• Enforce sanitation, disinfection, infection-control, and safety procedures.
• Report student concerns or incidents to School Administration.
